Astrological Predictions -2011

Keyword for the year:         Accountability

Each year, a keyword for the year comes to me. Last year it was "what is truth". During the elections, many people would say to me, "I donft know what to believe". People were trying to figure out what part of the rhetoric was true and what were lies. This year we are going to want to know who is accountable. Is it the government, the people, the corporations? Exactly who should be held accountable.

We begin this year with Jupiter conjunct Uranus in Pisces. This is the last of this conjunction. I believe this has given us a heightened sense of the unexpected coupled with the unknown. You feel like you need to take shelter from a storm, but just as you reach the shelter, it gets blown away. People are having a hard time believing that things are actually getting better. I think this conjunction will also see an increase in water related global problems, like what is happening in Australia. As this aspect dissipates wefll have Neptune moving into Pisces. Interestingly, Mercury went direct just as we started the new year, at 19 degreefs of Sagittarius and will end the year at 19 degreefs of Sagittarius. I would expect from this that we will spend the entire year talking about education. How it needs to be changed, how much it is costing, what are students actually learning and on and on. There could be some innovative programs put in place and Ifd expect the push for Science and Math to continue. There could be new methods used to teach our students. I just heard where some schools are now allowing students to type their essays and use spell check. The theory is why waste a students time with spelling when spell check can be utilized. We should see more changes in the publishing industry and Ifd expect people will think about traveling again. We could hear a lot about religious schools and education. We also have a Mars square Saturn and in the US Chart, transiting Saturn is conjunct our progressed Mars. These are the aspects that are increasing the anger people feel over the economy and government spending. Wefre angry about everything, yet we donft want to changes that restrict us. Itfs you change, not me. This could apply to relationships, especially with Saturn in Libra.

I think we can call this the beginning of the year where everyone becomes ADD. (Attention Deficit Disorder) as Uranus move into Aries on March 11^th to stay for the next seven years. The possibility of continued violence where one gunman unloads on innocent bystanders will probably increase. The fire and anger of Aries, which is impulsive by nature will be enhanced by the sudden and unexpectedness of Uranus. Jupiter will pass from Pisces into Aries on Jan. 22^nd, and into Taurus on June 4^th . Jupiter will square Pluto from 2-20 to 3-2 then from 5-14 to 28 transiting Jupiter will square the US Natal Pluto. One of the ways this will play out is the debate about the freedom of possessing guns against the reality of problems with shootings in the news. Transiting Pluto is opposing Natal Jupiter during this same period. Hard questions will have to be asked. Should people be allowed to bring guns to public places? Many people are surprised to learn how many people are legally packing concealed weapons. I believe this is the beginning of a shift as we begin to look at the "big business" of guns. Pluto in Capricorn. Individual Freedom versus Public Safety will continue to be debated. From 2-20 to 3-31, there are several aspects from Jupiter, both hard and soft. I believe this is a time when the stock market could drop and highlight problems around finances. Transiting Jupiter will square the US Venus.

One of the most significant events this year is Neptune moving into Pisces where it will stay until March 2025. During this time we will be concerned with all issue around water. Wefll be talking about the quality of our water and the availability of water. At the same time, wefll experience many earth events that deal with too much water. Look for bigger Hurricanes, bigger floods, perhaps another great tsumani and problems with the Oceans. We can expect the beginnings this year of new inventions dealing with music and changes with the music industry. Mental illness will also be spotlighted. Again, the debate of personal freedom versus public safety. Hopefully, wefll look at better funding and treatment for those who have mental illness. Usually when a planet changes signs, we tend to get the worst before we get the improvements. So this could be a year where are "talking" about the problem, without finding any solutions. Ifd expect there to also be a beginning dialogue about Drugs. This will take all forms from illegal drugs to prescription drugs. Ifd expect that the legalization of Marihuana will continue to be a hot topic and it could be made legal. Neptune dissolves what it finds and we get a double "whammy" with it in Pisces. Since this covers the entire world, just expect to hear more about drugs in the news. The technology around the film industry will grow by leaps and bounds. Wefll probably be able to "escape" into an alternate reality without the use of drugs, instead utilizing technology to create a "real" experience. Like the holodecks of Star Trek. Look for secrets of the Ocean to be revealed. More people will begin to open up "psychically" and talk more openly about their intuitive experiences. Angels and Spirit Guides will be talked about in the media. Creativity will be off the charts and expect some beautiful music and art during this transit. At the time that Neptune first goes into Pisces, April 4^th, we will also have Mars moving into Aries to conjunct Uranus. The Mars will also by squaring the US Venus and then Jupiter. This could be a time of heavy rains affecting the US. There could also be problems around this time with the stock market and/or much discussions about the deficit. With Uranus it could be an explosion of some kind, such as a mining disaster or volcanic eruptions. This could also take place under the Oceans.

Pluto in Capricorn - As Pluto moves from 5 to 7 degrees of Pluto this year, we can expect to learn more about the malfeasance of corporations and the government. Ifd also include all large organizations, including the NRA People will want to know how these groups are influencing our laws. Military spending to be closely looked at and cuts are coming. All phases of government will be tightening their belts. I feel a greater scrutiny of big banks will begin this year. More exposure about how much government money large businesses are accepting. The spotlight will get very big during the coming years about Corporations and corporate welfare. There will continue to be news stories of trafficking in people for the sex trade or slave trade. During the coming year, Pluto will be opposing the US Venus and Jupiter conjunction. This has been happening during the last several years. In December Pluto leaves this aspect. So while we should see some improvements this year over the last several years, things that we value will continue to be stressed. Expect money to still be tight and a reluctance to spend extravagantly. Deficit discussions will continue, although not sure much progress will be made in 2011. I keep feeling that we havenft yet had the major discussion about who has the wealth and the rest of us. This did come up during the last election and just before tax cuts for the wealthiest were extended, but I think wefll have a lot more discussion about taxes when Jupiter moves into Taurus. All aspects of government, big business, unions, large organizations, medicine and our country will be under review as Pluto moves more into Capricorn.

Around August 1, we will see an increase in jobs. Saturn will trine the Midheaven of the US Chart. The government along with business could begin to launch new programs to create jobs. I do feel there will be an emphasis on job creation.

Saturn is still in Libra and Ifd expect to hear more about marriage, ending of marriages and help for people who are having problems. Gay marriage could become a reality under this transit. A continued growth in social networking groups. Equality of the sexes to remain a hot topic.

I donft expect this to be a great year, but it will be better than the last several years. With Uranus in Aries, Ifd expect that something will be done about the "glut" of housing. Perhaps they will just begin to tear down some that have already been stripped bare. The land will be reclaimed for other uses. Also look for more electrical problems to emerge. I feel that "cyber warfare" will be in the news a great deal in the coming years. Wefll see the internet being used as another weapon in the arsenal, like when hackers took down MC/Visa over the Wikileaks problem. The government will eventually have an entire department for cyber war and cyber crime. I feel it will be organized and funded to view all threats. Once Jupiter in Taurus on June 4^th, we should see Money start to flow more easily helping with the housing market, job creation and business loans.

Barack Obama. - This is the year that people will believe that the President actually "grew a pair" and takes on his critics. He has Saturn transiting his progressed Mars and transiting Mars conjunct both his natal and progressed Saturn. He will feel like he has had enough and may take on not only the Republicans, but Democrats who donft see things his way. Ifd expect him to push forward with his own agenda this year and to get a lot done. He will continue to be in the public, making speeches and using every opportunity to reach the people directly. I feel he will re-evaluate whose counsel he listens too and will become more independent in his thinking and actions as Uranus and Jupiter trine his natal Mercury and Jupiter trines his natal Sun. His progressed Moon will cross his ascendant this summer, another indicator of his coming clairity of thinking and action. Transiting Neptune will make a trine to Mercury, so he could be looking for creative ways to address the deficit and the problems the nation faces. Transiting Mars will go back and forth from the 12^th house to the 11^th & 10th houses. He will push for programs that affect the greatest amount of people, what is good for most, not just the few. Again a focus on job creation. This year wonft be as bad for the President as 2010.

Predictions, Psychic and Astrological 2009

As Pluto is now firmly in Capricorn, the word that keeps coming to mind is "infrastructure". Pluto, the great "roto router" is busy destroying the infrastructure of our economy and business. We are in the early stages of many scandals, such as the "madeoff" scandal, with many more yet to come. The myth that de-regulating business would be good for the economy has been shattered. Expect more regulations and insight. As a Nation, we will begin to rebuild government so that it once again functions as it was created to do, which is to serve itfs citizens, not just the well off and well connected. The truth is now coming out about how inept and corrupt many CEOfs and office holders have been. Expect more scandals about business and political ties to big business. I would expect that by the time Pluto finished in Capricorn, our whole economic system will operate in a different way. Whether this turns out to be good or bad is yet to be decided. The infrastructure extends to our actual roads, highways and bridges. Expect Obamafs program for jobs related to infrastructure to become a reality, not just to stimulate the economy, but because there is a dire need for these improvements. This will not be a year of "miracles" for the economy. Most of 2009 will look and feel just like the last five months. An improvement should come after April, but with Uranus, the planet of "upsets" continuing to oppose Saturn the planet of "stability", wefll continue to have news that "shocks" us and upsets our foundations. However, now is a good time to buy stocks as I believe that the markets will go back up, just not much in the next two years. What we consider the criteria for what makes a business worth investing in will change. I feel, although probably not this year, we will return to looking at corporations on levels other than the bottom line. Expect government to be more involved in how corporations are run and more accountability for the decisions that are being made. Since the boards of these companies have failed to protect their investors, look for regulations that will do that, taking power out of the hands of the few. This could only have come about by the great collapse we are now witnessing. I would expect that existing inventories will be reduced through "sales" and that will lead to new manufacturing. Look for job losses to continue through the first half of the year. There will be more government incentives for keeping jobs in the US, as opposed to rewarding those who outsourced them. I see many programs by cities to get foreclosed properties restored and sold. In urban areas, where there is a great deal of these, some will be condemned and torn down to make way for revitalization. Look for the US Steel industry to make a comeback, using innovative technologies. The label, Made in the USA will take on more importance. I would also expect greater scrutiny of the big Oil industry and more regulations. The price of oil will go up again.

We started the year with a Mars Pluto conjunction, opposing the US Venus Jupiter. We could yet see angry protests over losses of jobs and 401Kfs. Intense anger over finances could bubble to the surface in many ways. I would expect more robberies of banks, embezzlement from companies, perhaps even CEOfs being murdered as ordinary people lose it. Also, people will be looking hard at the people who invested their money. Wefve already had a lot of this, but I feel more is to come and some of the crooks who run these companies will be going to jail. Unfortunately, we donft send people to jail for incompetence, instead we give them golden parachutes. This too will change, either with government regulations or by the investors of companies, or both. The public will demand it. The Mars Pluto sets a very angry tone for the year that will have far reaching consequences. I also feel there is a turning point with the Palestinefs and Israelis conflict. The beginning of some kind of new peace process.

The question of "infrastructure" also extends to companies. As we have seen with auto industry, major changes are needed in how they position themselves in the market place and the to offer products that consumers actually want. I personally believe that GM and Ford will survive and make the necessary changes to become the symbol of American quality and ingenuity that they were in the distant past. I see a new CEO for GM. I believe we will return to the "gold standardf, whatever that means.

As Saturn continues through Virgo, jobs will be uppermost in the minds of people. How to keep them and how to create them. The "infrastructure" of our health care system will continue to be brought up and the need for major changes will begin. It could still take several years, but this year will see the beginning of changes. Also, a lot more emphasis on healthy habits. Perhaps a national "preventative health" program to be created. We will be looking at how healthcare dollars are spent, are there cheaper alternatives, are we getting our moneyfs worth and exactly who is benefitting from high prices. As Ifve predicted before, I expect drug prices to be negotiated. Expect home gardens to continue to be big as people look for ways to save money and eat better. A great deal of emphasis will be on the nutritional value of our foods. What we eat, how itfs grown, harvested and the treatment of animals. Look for more organic companies to emerge and products that go along with the theme of conservation including bio degrade able products. Labor laws and labor unions will go through changes, trying to strike a balance for the rights of labor but keeping the business profitable. Concessions will be made by both sides. I would expect that more health tests that can be taken at home to flood the market as people look to save money on health issues. A more thorough testing of new drugs will be put into place. A new bandage of some kind will be introduced that has the medicine already in it to heal wounds faster. Many new technologies to come onto the marketplace in response to the "horrific" injuries our soldiers have experienced in both Afghanistan and Iraq. I feel there will be an increase in brain tumors, spurring more studies cell phone use. Look for problems with crops in many countries. Too much water, not enough.

And food bourne illnesses to continue to be in the news. Problems with the treatment of animals will continue to be in the headline. I also see new food sources coming onto the market. Many hybrid plants being worked on, the blending of fruits and vegetables. Because of so many job losses, people will be willing to do work that would have shunned in the recent past. A new appreciation of jobs, and those who have job skills.

Wefll find lots of money to be invested in alternative forms of energy and products. Many new products to come out of increase in our nations need for new road, highways and bridges. I feel that new technologies will make repairs less costly with fewer repairs needed. These products could also have applications in the building industry. As I said last year, with Uranus in Pisces and Neptune in Aquarius, we will see more utilization of nature in creating energy. Wind, water, sun, electricity, and natural plants will all be used in an effort to get off oil. The ethanol industry will grow, but using other plants than corn. Look for prices of Solar panels to become more reasonable. There could also be a new source of energy not yet known, such as using crystals. But, we will continue to have problems with water and wind, which come up unexpectedly and are very devastating. More attention is going to be given to buildings that go up in areas prone to natural disasters. These disasters will happen all over the world, causing other countries to review their own "infrastructure". Because Saturn is in a earth sign, Virgo and Uranus is in Pisces, wefll continue to have earthquakes over 7+, and wind and water damage on large scales.

Jupiter is also transiting the USAfs Pluto and we have Pluto opposing the USAfs Jupiter. There will be a new focus on our Education System, from elementary to college. Government will be analyzing what systems work and what doesnft. As I have said in the past, "no child left behind" will be left behind. It will get a different name. I expect a renewed interest in vocational education and in job specific education. Partnerships between business and the government. New ways to keep and attract teachers and changes in the teachers union. The status quo will no longer be accepted. I see a lot more technology being used in the classrooms. As we have already seen, more changes still to come in the publishing world.

2009 will not be a year where people will feel secure. There will be too many scandals regarding money for people to feel secure. But, we will see the economy begin to slowly turn around. Itfs a time for reevaluating our own infrastructures. How healthy are we? What can we do to make our life better? Does our home need repair? How can we fix our finances? This is a time to clean out and get rid of what we donft need.

Astrological Predictions by Dee Patterson - 2008

 We start off the year with a heavy emphasis on Earth Signs. Saturn in Virgo, Pluto entering Capricorn and remaining for most of the year, Jupiter in Capricorn as well as Sun and Mercury. The theme this year will be about responsibility. Personal, professional, national and global. The bottom line will become even more important in corporate decisions. People will feel that they must tighten the belt as the economy continues to slow. There will be some unrest about the future. The housing market will not rebound, and other lending institutions will continue to review their loan policies. This will create unease in the marketplace. While we are at the very early stages of Pluto in Capricorn, questions will begin about how corporations operate and how our government spends money. The last vestiges of Pluto in Sag have brought about a continuous flow of radical fundamentalism, although this should start to abate once Pluto is firmly in Capricorn. A spotlight will be shown global companies and their practices, how they impact people and nations. "Wherefs the money" will become a by word. Who has the money and how they got it. We will hear a lot about "Corporate Greed". Saturn will trine Jupiter, which can bring an uptick to the economy and stockmarket, but underlying this aspect is still the earth signs practicality. No pie in the sky. This is a year for realism. We will also begin to see more regulations and overhaul of the financial institutions. There will be a lot more talk about who has money and those who donft. The divide between the rich and the poor has been growing since the 80's and this will be in the news again. On a personal level, people will begin to feel that they need to conserve more, so look for many articles in the media about conservation, including personal finances. We are beginning a swing away from "excess". We will also begin to look for more quality in the merchandise we buy. We want to know we are getting our monies worth. I could even forsee during Plutofs journey through Capricorn that some major conglomerates will be broken apart. The high price of fuel is going to be a hugh topic and what the government plans to do about it. With Uranus in Pisces and Neptune is Aquarius, look for more amazing technologies to emerge, using water and wind.

Saturn in Virgo will put an emphasis on Healthcare. Again, with all the earth emphasis, we will be looking at how the dollars are spent, are we getting our moneyfs worth and exactly who is benefitting from high prices. We could be hearing about Doctors going on strike, so to speak, actually calling for more regulations with the insurance industry and how procedures are paid. I would expect that after 2008, drug prices will be negotiated for Medicare. A national healthcare plan should be in place when Saturn finishes up in Virgo. There will also be more talk about preventative care, smoking bans throughout the US, trans fat, use of high fructose corn syrup and other products that are helping to keep Americans fat and ill. The cost of healthcare is bankrupting our nation. Look to the leaders of major corporations to call summits to discuss ways to fix the system. This will be one of the biggest problems that the new President and Congress will face. You will hear of many sad stories about people dying because of being denied healthcare. The American people will finally want answers about "wherefs the money" going. The environmental movement will continue in full force. Look for more products and technologies that will conserve energy and fuel. Even industries that have long resisted change will get on the bank wagon. I can also see that many people will start home vegetable gardens. A great deal of emphasis will be on the nutritional value of our foods. What we eat, how itfs grown, harvested and the treatment of animals. Look for more organic companies to emerge and products that go along with the theme of conservation including bio degrade able products.

The earth is in a state of transition, a cleansing is taking place and so expect to see problems with major disasters. Uranus in Pisces and Neptune in Aquarius, are making a mutual reception. The good we will see from this is emerging energy that utilizes, wind, water, electricity and great improvements over existing technologies. Such as more efficient batteries. Solar panels will be used more, especially in areas that have lots of Sun. I would expect before they both leave their respective signs, electricity will be available more third world countries. At the same time, we will see more disasters with wind, water and fires. More hurricanes, tornadoes and hurricane force winds ripping through communities. Building in areas that are prone to these conditions will be in the news and debated. There will be more fires of greater intensity. Mud slides will be in the news as some areas get too much rain, while others continue to experience droughts. Look for more Earthquakes and Volcanic eruptions, especially when Saturn opposes Uranus in October.

Neptune is still conjunct the Moon of the US Chart. Issues dealing with financial security will be uppermost in peoples minds. This is affecting the fourth/tenth house of the US Chart. Again, butter versus guns. More Americans will question why we are still in this war in Iraq. The money being spent there versus needing to be spent at home will continue to be an issue. Capricorn is about structure, and our infrastructure is crumbling. Our progressed moon is now in the fourth house. We will have concerns for our country, our children and our families. I just keep feeling that Americans are going to feel really insecure during 2008. We have lost our standing as a leader in the world and this will cause concern among our citizens

When Saturn opposes Uranus, it will affect the fifth/eleventh house of the US Chart. Education will be seriously looked at during this period. I expect the "no child left behind" to get left behind. How we educate our children, the money being spent or not spent and what they are being taught will be talked about a great deal. The question of whether we are actually preparing students to be productive in the workplace and to compete globally will be much debated. Besides earth changes, this could bring about sudden overthrow of some existing governments in the world. We could also experience more failures of bridges, buildings and highways, happening suddenly, although in the making for years. On a personal level, people may feel the need to break out of the everyday and experience something new and exciting. This will cause problems in their personal stability. Risk versus Stability.

Psychic Predictions - 2008

A lung disease where people will be coughing up blood. i Major advances in gum disease treatment and tooth replacement. Something will stimulate regeneration of the gums. i More treatment centers to be opened for drug and alcohol abuse as a result of the high cost of incarceration and health care.

Ocean floor is changing dramatically. New discoveries as a result of the ocean floor rising in some places. i Winds to be a major problem this year.

Artifacts being discovered that astound the scientific community. Perhaps alien in nature.

Two major countries will face off this year with miliary build ups. Could be Russia or India involved, takes place in that part of the world.

Economy to continue a slow decline. The worst will not be 2008, but now is the time to prepare. i Stock market in for a bumpy ride in 2008. i Was shown planned communities that we designed like a Wheel with spokes. The center was community buildings, shopping and housing that came off the spokes of the wheel and the circle of the wheel. i Either new uses for old textile factories or else the textiles make a comeback in the US. i People are going to be looking for quality in products again.

Inhumane treatment of animals to continue to be big news. i Sightings of unusal lights in the sky in many places at once.

Business

Greater scrutiny of corporate mergers. * Wind technology to move forward as a viable energy source. * There will also be some new kind of wind power technology that is not windmills as we know them now. * Consumers will begin to tighten their belts and curb spending in 2007/08. * Technologies that deal with the Environment will soar, with many new products being introduced. * Economy will be up and down throughout 2007, ending on a down note. * More Corporate leaders will go to jail.

Health

New methods that help the Heart Muscle and related tissue to regenerate itself. This will be considered a major breakthrough in the treatment of Heart ailments. * Tremendous advances in hearing technology. * Another "old" disease to become more visible in 2007 or 2008, could be "Cholera" and past cures will not be as effective. * Eat your Spinach. More health data appearing about spinach and other greens, showing that they are "great" foods. * More regulations over practices of food growers. * New developments for treating eye diseases. * Continued problems with the food supply. * More influenza illnesses to emerge.

Religion

People will have more unexpected and unexplained spiritual experiences, such as seeing ghosts or saints or the white light and feeling uplifted by the experience.

Politics

US will strike some kind of deal with North Korea. * Germany will once again become a "superpower" and to become more prominent in world news. * I see the removal of Iranfs President, either through assis nation or not re-elected. * Iraq will be divided into three provinces with their own government and armies. All three will have control over their oil production through treaties. The Oil will bind them together in an uneasy alliance. * The US will maintain a military base(s) in Iraq. * Many more in the Armed Forces to die in Iraq. * Bigger marches will be held in the US about the war. * More stories of hardships the Iraq war is causing to the service men and women. * I see another terrorist attack on a US Naval Ship. * More families falling below the poverty line.

Environment

More fires out in the far West. * Middle of the US will have a lot of rain. * Typhoons will hit the Asian Nations again this year. * A category 5 or 6 Hurricane to develop this year, bringing about alarm. Not sure where it will hit. * A major oil spill will happen again.

Astrological Predictions by Dee Patterson - 2007

We start off the year with Saturn opposing Neptune conjunct the Moon of the US Chart. Look for emotional issues over the Iraq War. You will see larger anti war marches, a constant barrage by the news media about the War and what it is costing in Dollars and American lives. As a nation, we will do some soul searching as to how we want the world to see us. There will be lots of discussions of money that is not being spent on domestic programs because it is going to Iraq. Neptune can be the planet of delusions, while Saturn is the planet of responsibility. With these two planets opposing each other, we are finding that things we have not wanted to deal with are now being put in our face. The reality of the problems are now front and center to be dealt with, whether we want to or not. This is happening on a personal level, a national level and a global level. This axis is happening in the US Chart with Saturn in the fourth and Neptune in the tenth, conjunct our Moon. There will continue to be push/pull about what is good for the corporation versus what is good for the people. Expect issues like Wal-Mart and how they pay their people to stay in the news, along with other corporations. I would expect that the housing market will continue a slow decline and that we may still have many problems with the weather and people forced from their homes. We will also see an increase in bankruptcies and foreclosures. There will be scrutiny about lending institutions and how many of these people were given loans in the first place. We will also continue to see problems with our food supply. Our personal Health will continue to be in the spotlight as the government tries to educate the public on how to eat better and lose weight. There will continue to be scandals with Corporations and the Government, anyone who has abused power and the public trust. Moms are getting mad at the direction of our country. Look for more Mothers of servicemen to be in the news. Drug prices will be renegotiated. Tax cuts for the wealthiest and large corporations will be changed. Transiting Pluto is also conjunct our Progressed Moon, giving even more emphasis to all of the above. 

Uranus continues to square our US Chart Uranus with many upsets hitting the news constantly. Problems with natural disasters to continue. How we treat the environment to continue to be a big story. We will have a greater concern for the welfare of all mankind, including all species that now exist in the world.

Jupiter is joining Mars and Pluto in the Seventh House of the US Chart. We will begin fixing the mess we have made in Iraq and Afghanistan and New Orleans. Money will be spent on reconstruction. There will be many problems revealed about how money to date has been spent on these efforts.

President Bush starts the year off with his progressed Moon conjunct transiting Pluto with Mars joining in. This is a very serious time for him. There could be problems with his health. This is happening in his fifth house. He is taking a big gamble by escalating the troop build up in Iraq. He could also experience problems with his children or a possible health problem for his Mom or wife. Saturn is on his Venus, and the problems of money are in the forefront of discussion on the war in Iraq. Transiting Jupiter is squaring his Mars, so the stress in his life can at times be overwhelming. Jupiter is also trining his Mercury and Pluto, so I would expect that he will be more visible and speaking more publicly. He has a great desire to control the dialogue, but may find events are now out of his control. Emotional outbursts could be heightened during the Moon Pluto Mars conjunction. Transiting Uranus is still opposing his Mars, so erratic behavior on his part or others is possible. There could also be some kind of health problems with this aspect, since Mars is in Virgo. Transiting Neptune is trining his natal Uranus, so his perceptions of the way the world works will probably change, this coming about unexpectedly. Venus is transiting his 7^th house, so I would expect that his own personal wealth will also increase and his personal relationships will remain strong.

With transiting Neptune trine his Chiron, Moon and Jupiter, he can still be more optimistic than he should be. I donft think he sees the reality of what is going on in the world.

HealthDee - Some type of patch is being developed that can be put on heart muscle tissue that causes it tore-grow, allowing the heart to be healed.

2006 Predictions

Environment A major Earthquake in the Gobi Desert. * Major Earthquake in Afganistan * We will continue to hear about Earthquakes that are greater than 6.5+. I have long predicted an earthquake that reaches from northern California all the way up to Canada. This could be the year that it happens.

Hurricanes to hit Panama City, Fl., area, Jacksonville, Fl, area, Dominican Republic and Cuba. Major storms to wash over the Keys in Florida. Water, water everywhere will be the theme for 2006. Expect more flooding all over, wind damage, mudslides, river banks overflowing. Fires burning out of control in one area while other areas are drenched. Look for an increase in avalanches all over the world. The water table is rising as the poles continue to melt. A lot of erosion problems due to water.Politics

This will not be a good year for the President. I see his poll numbers continuing to plunge, rebounding some and then plunging again. A major scandal to hit the Bush Administration which very well could involve the mess with Tom Delay or Ken Lay, or both. Problems for Tom Delay will get worse. * I feel that it is very possible that we could be hit by another terrorist attack in the US, and we will not be adequately prepared. * Serious health problem for Barbara Bush. * Scandals will abound this year for the White House which could also include contracts awarded to companies like Halliburton. Congress will also have its share of the same type of problems. * Good possibility that Alberto Gonzoles, the Attorney General will not serve out his entire term. * Strong possibility that some of Presidents Bushfs Cabinet and close advisors will resign even though the President is not pushing them to. * Iran will huff and puff and nothing. Itfs all bluff. They are trying to convince the world that they are a power to be reckoned with for fear of an invasion by the US. * Indonesia will continue to have problems with terrorists and natural disasters, both of which will be in the news. * Riots in a gold or diamond mine in Africa. * Chaos in China which natural and man made disasters. * Iraq will continue to be a mess and the number of our service men and women who are killed will continue to increase. There is a great possibility that a civil war will begin. I predicted this September of 2003. We are beginning to see this occur now with revenge killings. Religion

A promenient religious leader will be discredited by a scandal, could be more than one. * The catholic church will continue to decline. Only new leadership can turn it around. * A radical group will bomb and/or burn Southern Churches.Business

Home prices to begin a decline. * The dollar will gain some strength. * New sources of oil will be discovered within the next two years. Spending on searching will increase. * New refineries will be built, either through mandates from Congress or with significant tax incentives. * Look for an overhaul of the Medicare prescription benefit, with drug prices being negotiated. * Exotic fruits to become more popular in the US.General

Astrology Predictions 2006 - ASK

Started off the year with Mars in Taurus opposing Jupiter in Scorpio squaring Saturn in Leo with a Venus Retrograde. I feel that we can expect a slowing of the economy. This is also being shown by the problems facing the auto industry. Using the Gemini Rising Chart for the US, then this opposition takes place in the 12/6th houses squaring Saturn in the 3^rd. The biggest problem facing business today is the rising cost of Health Insurance, the 12th/6th houses. This aspect is causing the Media (3^rd house) to take notice of what has been hidden from public awareness. I would expect that there could be problems with all matters relating to hospitals, medicine and the media. Also any institutions that rely on government funding will be in the spotlight. This could also include prisons and jails.

One of the most significant aspects that we are dealing with is the transiting Neptune in Aquarius conjunct the US natal Moon in Aquarius. This aspect was in effect last year during the Hurricane season, especially Katrina. I would expect that until Neptune passes out of Aquarius, we will have many problems with water, earthquakes and volcanoes. Because it is on our Moon, they will cause problems in peoplefs homes and grief. There could also be problems with the food supply and I think with air borne diseases, such as the avian flu. Since these are both in the 10^th house, we could see continued problems with scandals in business and government. In Aug/Sept, Saturn will be opposing this conjunction. I would expect at that time that the senior medicare drug program will come under scrutiny, or the it will be enhanced during this time. The public will begin asking why drug prices werenft negotiated and the true price tag for this program will make the news. During this time people will realize how restrictive the new bankruptcy laws are to average person as well as the entire taxation system. I wouldnft expect the tax cuts for wealthy to be made permanent. Neptune will also be trining natal Mars, so I donft expect much relief in Iraq. The financial cost of the war should be in the news. In general, these aspects will cause a tightening of the belt, much like the high price of oil is causing.

Transiting Uranus is also squaring natal Uranus which again indicates many upsets, suddenly and unexpectedly. This re-in forces problems with natural disasters as well as with institutions. I would expect more jail and prison breaks or issues coming to the attention of the public about conditions in jails and prisons. This could also apply to any institutions. In our research committee on natural disasters, Venus was often present in Earth changes and transiting Uranus is trine our Natal Venus, thus re-inforcing the notion that we may be hit with another major disaster in 2006.

Venus is going back and forth over our natal Pluto in Capricorn and I think this will cause more scrutiny of what we value as spiritual belief versus what is religious belief. Perhaps people are getting tired of the evangelical movements constant barrage in the media. I keep feeling that this will be a year where "truth" becomes important. Sort of the public finally becoming aware of how much they have been lied too. In addition, T. Pluto is squaring our N Neptune which could create the fear that life as we know it is slipping away. This again re-inforces that we donft want the minority telling the majority what to do. In October, Saturn will conjunct Neptune, when what we have been disconnected to, will be revealed. Some type of truth will come out, probably as a result of some scandal. Again, this could be around energy, health care, foreign affairs, etc.

President Bush

Saturn has crossed into the first house. I donft think this could be a very good year for him. With Saturn conjunct his Pluto, I think we can expect to hear more scandals surrounding his administration. Saturn in the first can be a very difficult time for anyone, especially since Saturn is in Leo and that is the sign of leadership. What has been called into question since Katrina is what kind of leader is he really? Itfs as though the marketing myth that has been created around him has been stripped away. His own words may be his most damaging, Mercury conjunct Pluto with transiting Saturn on both. His natal Saturn is in the 12^th house and transiting Pluto is inconjunct it right now and will continue to do so for the remainder of this year. It is interesting that Transiting Saturn conjunct Natal Pluto/Mercury, while Transiting Pluto conjunct Transiting Mercury inconjunct his natal Saturn, so we have this difficult aspect going both ways, giving what I feel is a double whammy. This will make it hard for President Bush to get anything on his agenda passed through Congress. It is a time of struggle and difficulty. He may very well lose some members of his Cabinet and staff that he would not want to lose. This could also signal that perhaps Karl Rove could be indicted on that VP Cheney could step down for health reasons or perhaps die. Because Mercury is also involved in this conjunction, his mental state might become unstable. He will have more and more difficulty getting his point across. He could also experience health problems. While the presidency can never be a stress free job, he will be under tremendous stress and pressure this year. Itfs been rumored that his behavior can be very erratic and I wouldnft be surprised if we donft hear more of this or that he has an outburst in public that canft be controlled.

With Transiting Neptune trine his Chiron, Moon and Jupiter can make him more optimistic and want to connect with the average person. I would expect to see him in the media a lot this year to be seen as a just an "ordinary guy", the energy that helped to get him elected. In addition, Tran Uranus is opposing his natal mars, another reason to suspect erratic behavior or health problem. His Mars is in Virgo or perhaps he could start drinking again. I would be very surprised if he isnft on anti-depressants of some sort.

As long as Uranus remains in Pisces and Neptune is in Aquarius, expect to see major world earth disasters. These will happen in unexpected ways and will have a water element to them, so flooding will continue to be a problem.

Eclispes are in Virgo and Scorpio and reinforce most of what I have said.
